2021 Annual General Meeting

To all Members, Sponsors and Stakeholders,

This is to advise you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the members of The Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club (Incorporation No. A0062708T).

The details of this meeting are as follows:
DATE: 24th November 2021
TIME: 7pm
PLACE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will receive notification of the location 7 days prior (either zoom online or in person pending numbers RSVP’d)

Members wishing to attend our Annual General Meeting, please email frankstonraiders@gmail.com or text 0407 380 517 with your name, type of member i.e. parent of playing member, volunteer etc and your confirmation of attendance. Notice of attendance must be received by 8pm on the 17th November 2021.

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
• Find out about the Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club’s operations and finances
• Ask questions about the operations and finances of the Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club
• Speak about any items on the agenda
• Vote on any resolutions proposed (If any)

At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:
• Accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting
• Accept the 2020 annual report
• Accept the financial statements
• Elect the committee for the 2022 season

Membership definition/who can vote?
• Only members who are financial or volunteers who have been accepted by the 2021 Executive Committee can vote. This means members who have paid their Player registration fees in Financial Year 2021 to become a financial member of the Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club.
• If you are unable to attend, you can exercise your right to vote by nominating a proxy to act on your behalf

Who can run for an executive committee position?
• Only committee members who have served as a general committee member for at least 12 months prior are permitted to nominate or accept nomination for an executive committee position.
• A member can nominate himself or herself, however a current member of the association must second all applications.
• Please note all proxy and nomination forms must be filled out and by email to frankstonraiders@gmail.com prior to the commencement of the meeting.

Nominations for both Executive Committee roles and General committee roles must be emailed to frankstonraiders@gmail.com by 11:59pm on the 17th November 2021. Please email your name & the position you are nominating yourself for. If you are nominating another member, please ensure that you have their permission to nominate.
