Our history…
The Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club was established by founding President Gavin Boggitt in 2015, he had a vision to bring Rugby League back to the Frankston region. The local community showed an interest and the Frankston Raiders RLC was formed…..
Our first season we started with just 38 players. The club now boasts over 200 members and are continuing to grow steadily each and every year.
We have teams from U6’s through to Seniors, catering for both male and female participants. We even have our very own Masters team for the over 35’s!
We are a family based club, and we pride ourselves on being inclusive and making all people feel welcome and part of the Raiders family.
The Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club is formally incorporated under the Victorian Associations incorporations Act and carries affiliation with Victorian Rugby League Ltd.
“Our families are the absolute heart and soul of the Frankston Raiders Rugby league Club. Many things motivate our families, loyalty to our club and community, relationships formed by family and friends and an appreciation of the skill and drama of the game. These qualities make Rugby League meaningful; it is the passion and support of our Raiders families that give life to our game and our club”
The Frankston Raiders Rugby League Club would like to acknowledge the Boonwurrung People, who are the custodians of the land on which we meet and play. We pay our respects to Elders past and present of the Kulin Nation and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders in our community.
